For this bespoke interior commission, we were approached by Julian and Sophie to recreate the distinctive shingle wall feature found at Midgley Green, reimagined on a much larger scale for their home. This unique handcrafted installation showcases our expertise in bespoke interiors, luxury joinery and architectural woodwork throughout Bristol and the South West.
We clad two feature walls, each measuring an impressive 8 × 5 metres, using individually handcrafted solid ash shingles. Every shingle was carefully made and installed to create a striking textured surface that celebrates the natural beauty of timber while delivering a truly one-of-a-kind interior finish.
To complete the project, we designed and crafted matching solid ash doorway trims, architectural surrounds for the connecting spaces, and bespoke solid timber light switch panels, ensuring every detail complemented the overall design. The ash was left raw and untreated to preserve its authentic character, allowing the grain and natural tones to develop beautifully over time.
This project demonstrates our passion for creating bespoke interiors in Bristol and across the South West, combining traditional craftsmanship with contemporary design.
