Commissioned by Bert and Tania, we designed and built a bespoke kitchen for their beautifully refurbished oak barn in the South West. Created as a dedicated space for hosting charcuterie workshops, food demonstrations and culinary events, this handmade kitchen combines exceptional craftsmanship with the practicality of a professional catering environment.
The design centres around a highly functional workspace, featuring catering-grade stainless steel worktops, an integrated stainless steel sink and a sleek induction hob. Every element was carefully considered to deliver a durable, easy-to-maintain kitchen without compromising on aesthetics.
The bespoke cabinetry is handcrafted from premium white-faced birch plywood, complete with adjustable shelving and beautifully hand-veneered beech and birch plywood doors. To enhance the clean, contemporary appearance, the kickboards are laminated to match the barn’s flooring, creating the illusion of elegant floating cabinets. A single shallow drawer with a solid beech front provides practical storage while completing the minimalist design.
