Dongnae is a new neighbourhood South Korean restaurant located in a beautifully restored former butcher’s shop. Specialising in authentic traditional Korean cuisine, the restaurant combines heritage with contemporary design to create a warm and welcoming dining experience.
We were commissioned to design, manufacture, and install the restaurant interior, creating a bespoke fit-out that balances modern aesthetics with durable craftsmanship. The interior features a striking combination of dark sapele hardwood and crisp white laminate, bringing warmth, light, and contrast to the space.
The custom seating is fabricated from powder-coated box-section steel, offering a clean, industrial look that complements the natural timber finishes. Every piece of furniture, cabinetry, and joinery was handcrafted in our central Bristol workshop, reflecting our commitment to high-quality bespoke furniture, commercial interiors, and precision craftsmanship.
